The standard Pocono booking is demanding: guests out at 11 a.m., next guests at 3 p.m., linens in process, trash full, and access that can add time if gate codes are missing.
Build the window backwards
Start from check-in, not from checkout. If new guests arrive at 3, the house should be done, aired, and staged before that — not “almost done.” That means the cleaner needs a realistic start time after the previous group actually leaves, not the time the listing claims they will leave.
What you can do before we arrive
- Ask guests to strip beds if that is in your house manual
- Keep a labeled linen set ready, not mixed in a hall closet
- Leave restocking supplies where they are obvious
- Share gate codes and parking notes in the same message as the booking
None of that replaces a professional turnover. It keeps a tight window from becoming a missed check-in. For the clean itself, see our Airbnb turnover page or call 570-722-4368.
When same-day is not advisable
After holiday weekends, large groups, or a review that already mentioned cleanliness, consider a buffer night or a longer recovery clean. Protecting one Saturday rate is not worth a month of damaged rankings.
